StoryWalk
This event happened in the past.Read two special stories as you walk beautiful nature trails in Dartmouth as part of the Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust’s (DNRT’s) two free “StoryWalks,” which start on Saturday, May 1 and run through Wednesday, June 1. These are self-guided walks and participants can enjoy them free of charge, anytime from dawn to dusk.
StoryWalk is the opportunity to share a book with your children as you wander from page to page down a nature trail. Celebrate the joy of reading and a taste of the great outdoors!
DNRT’s StoryWalks will feature In the Tall, Tall Grass by Denise Fleming at DNRT’s Ridge Hill Reserve (parking lot on Collins Corner Road, 1 mile north of Old Fall River Road) and Jump, Frog, Jump! by Robert Kalan at DNRT’s Paskamansett Woods (parking lot on Chase Road, across from Gene Street).
The StoryWalk Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Pedestrian and Bicycle Coalition and the Kellogg Hubbard Library. For StoryWalk crafts and activities, click here.
