With the heat of August upon us join Haskell’s Horticulturist, Kristin McCullin for a walk in Haskell’s woodland shade garden.  The garden crew has been working hard all year to restore Haskell’s beloved gardens by planting the lost perennial layer.  Take a stroll through the gardens and learn some new plants for shade in our “east meets west” garden installation.  Kristin will discuss ecological garden techniques for putting your gardens to bed through fall cutbacks, soil building, mulching techniques, and late season pruning techniques.
