Join the Boston Paddlers chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club for a paddle through beautiful Woods Hole. This roughly 12-mile paddle will cross the main channel to Hadley Harbor, where paddlers will play in some current in the gutters, then return across the channel to the launch.

This trip is for adults ages 18+ only, and considered a Level 2 paddle. (For more information on AMC difficulty ratings, please see the Appalachian Mountain Club website.) Woods Hole channel has strong currents and boat traffic. In addition, there may be strong (15-20 knot) tailwinds in the afternoon. This trip is ideal for those seeking to improve their paddling skills in moderate currents. Helmets are needed when playing around rocks and current.

Boats will launch from the town boat ramp at Great Harbor Landing.

Registration is required for this activity. Please contact the trip leader to register.
