Pileated woodpeckers have returned to the Southeastern Massachusetts Bioreserve after a long absence. As you walk along, the group will look for signs of Woody’s descendants and listen for their calls.

Meet at 8 a.m. at The Trustees’ parking area at Copicut Woods, at the intersection of Indian Town Road and Yellow Hill Road. Length of walk approximately 5 miles. Insect repellent, snack and water a good idea. Dress appropriately for walking in the woods.
