Are you riding in the 12th annual Buzzards Bay Watershed Ride on September 30? Still considering it? Get in some training miles on this beautiful 27-mile looping tour of Falmouth that includes Woods Hole Village, Nobska Light, Falmouth Heights, and Falmouth Harbor. Coupons provided for discounts on lunch at Quicks Hole Inn – and your Watershed RIDE registration fee! – after the ride. Leave time to enjoy the many activities of the “The Sea Around Us” weekend festival in Woods Hole throughout the rest of Saturday and Sunday.
Buzzards Bay Coalition Event Manager Deb Hood will offer an brief overview of the Ride and answer questions. Then, Falmouth resident and BBC Water Resource Specialist, Maureen Thomas, will lead the ride. Participants can meet and park at the WHOI Challenger Parking Lot at 21 Challenger Drive in Woods Hole.
This training ride is open to those registered – or considering registering – for the Watershed Ride. Feel free to bring friends that might be interested in learning more about the Watershed Ride. All participants are required to wear helmets, sign a waiver, and follow the Rules of the Road.
