Join the Buzzards Bay Coalition on a self-guided story walk this winter at The Sawmill!

StoryWalk is the opportunity to share a book with kids as you wander from page to page down a nature trail. Celebrate the joy of reading and the taste of the great outdoors! Laminated pages from a children’s book are attached to wooden stakes and installed along outdoor paths. As you continue your walk, you will find the next page in the story.

For this winter storywalk, enjoy Animals in Winter by Henrietta Bancroft, illustrated by Richard Van Gelder. This colorful story looks at the different ways animals adapt to the chilly months of the year — butterflies migrate, woodchucks hibernate, and foxes romp through the snow!
