Come to the Cape Cod Canal for a day of learning and fun at the 14th annual Boating and Water Safety Day!

Rain or shine, enjoy activities for kids and adults of all ages:

• Dock-side tours of U.S. Coast Guard & U.S. Army Corps of Engineers boats
• Water & boating safety activities, games & prizes for the whole family
• Dunk-a-Ranger
• Catch a fish with equipment & tips provided by MA Marine Fisheries
• Free vessel safety checks by the US Coast Guard Auxiliary (get your decal & receive a voucher for a free Sandwich Marina boat launch!)
• Promotional & informational handouts on water and boating safety
• & special guest Bobber the Water Safety Dog!

Activities will be held inside and outside at the Cape Cod Canal Visitor Center, U.S. Coast Guard Station, and Sandwich Marina, all located on Ed Moffitt Drive.

This U.S. Army Corps of Engineers event is presented in partnership with the Buzzards Bay Coalition, U.S. Coast Guard, Massachusetts Environmental Police, Division of Marine Fisheries, Americorps Cape Cod, American Red Cross, Whale and Dolphin Conservation and the American Canoe Association.
