This winter, Wildlands Trust brings you Wildlife on the Move, a free lecture series spotlighting the fascinating lives of a few of Massachusetts’ seasonally local wildlife.

Join Professor Steven Reppert, MD for a look at the beauty and biology of the Monarch Butterfly migration. All aspects of the multi-generational migration of eastern North American monarch butterflies will be discussed. This will include a historical perspective, an overview of the annual migration cycle, a travelogue of the monarchs’ remarkable navigational abilities, and a discussion of current threats and conservation efforts.
