Join the Massachusetts Butterfly Club and Buzzards Bay Coalition for a field trip to Nasketucket Bay State Reservation! This state reservation has almost 400 acres of coastal forest, set on some of Buzzards Bay’s clearest, healthiest waters. We will take an easy hike along the Bridal Trail and part of the Shaw Farm Trail to explore this property in search of Little Yellows. Meet at Nasketucket Bay State Reservation parking lot.

All field trips are open to anyone interested in learning about butterflies. All levels welcome! Please register online or call ahead to let the coordinator know to expect you. Check in here or by phone to get directions to meeting place or rain date plans, if needed.

Bring binoculars, hand lens, field guide(s) if you have them; equipment will also be available to borrow.

Sunscreen, water, hat, insect repellent, allergy medicines, snacks and/or lunch, pen/pencil & small pad for recording, camera are also recommended. Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy walking shoes. Be prepared to have a really good time!

Netting is not permitted. No dogs (except for service animals).
