Get your little ones to discover the outdoors during Itty Bitty Bay Explorers, a series of four free outings  in September with Buzzards Bay Coalition.

Through fun games and hands-on activities, your family can learn about Buzzards Bay’s animals, plants, and habitats.

This week it’s all about exploring the salt marshes at West Island State Reservation in Fairhaven.

Itty Bitty Bay Explorers is recommended for families with children five and younger. We encourage you to attend all four programs, but it’s not required. Please note that signing up for one program will not register you for all of them.

• September 4: Beachcombing (Westport)
• September 10: Catching Crabs (Mattapoisett)
• September 17: River Exploration (Acushnet)
• September 24: Salt Marsh Safari (Fairhaven)
