Enjoy the peace and beauty of nature with yoga instructor Jessica Webb and the Buzzards Bay Coalition during this mindfulness walk at Little Buttermilk Bay Woods in Bourne.
This will be a guided somatic immersion for anyone seeking respite from the clamor of urban life! A Mindfulness Walk is about becoming fully awake in the wild, in every sense of the word: aware of the touch of air on the skin, the sound of the leaves underfoot, the smell of the moist soil, the sight of the vibrant green moss. What we see, what we hear, what we smell, what we touch—it’s all part of the mindfulness experience.
All fitness levels are welcome. Please wear appropriate footwear for a walk through nature, and remember that we will follow social distancing guidelines, including the wearing of masks when we are gathered together.
Registration is free but required; space is limited.
About your guide: Jessica Webb is the owner of Anchor Yoga studio and founding director of the non-profit Project Wheel House. She is a qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher and has been teaching meditation and yoga classes for the past nine years.
