Snap up the chance to see turtles up close and personal on the June Turtle Walk in the Southeastern Massachusetts Bioreserve with Green Futures. In our neck of the woods, late May and early June finds most local female turtles out and about searching for a sunny sandbank, road edge, or even a suburban backyard where they can dig a hole and lay their eggs. When in the act of laying their eggs, turtles allow a close approach. They become oblivious to anything else that may be going on around them.

Meet at Fighting Rock Corner at the intersection of Wilson, Blossom, and Bell Rock Roads in the Southeastern Massachusetts Bioreserve.

Approximate length of walk 1 mile. Insect repellent containing DEET is a good idea.
