Join New Bedford-based artist John Middleton for a workshop in which he’ll demonstrate how he uses debris found on local beaches, transformed and worn by the ocean, to create one-of-a-kind art sculptures.

If you attended our “shoreline objects” beach cleanup, you are automatically registered for this event! Bring along any objects found during the cleanup. John and the Coalition will provide paints and other materials needed to fasten them together into art.

If you did not attend our beach cleanup, bring along any materials you think would make for a unique sculpture. Children ages 10+ are welcome.

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy and bring your creativity!
