The Dartmouth Grange, established in 1888, is dedicated to improving the quality of life for families and the community by building an equal opportunity program of fellowship, service to others, and unity of action within a framework of fraternalism. Join the Grange on September 6 and 7 for the annual Rural Community Fair, a classic community agricultural fair with food, games, exhibits, live animals, a nature walk, and so much more!
Saturday Fair Schedule:
- 11:00am – DNRT Nature Walk
- 12:00pm – Fair opens
- 2:30-4:00pm – Heirloom Tomato Tasting
- 4:00pm – Music by Len Solomon
- 5:30pm – Pie Eating Contest
- 6:00pm – Penny Sale
- Auction to follow Penny Sale
Demonstrations all afternoon:
- Apple Cider Pressing
- Shingle Making
- Heirloom Apples Tasting
- Beekeeping
- Quilt and Embroidery Needlework
- Rug Braiding
- Spinning Wool
If you wish to enter the exhibit contest, exhibits will be received Thursday (September 5) from 7-9pm, Friday (September 6) from 1-6:30pm, and Saturday (September 7) from 7-9am.
