Join the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation and park interpreters at the Myles Standish State Forest to learn all about the Eastern Bluebird as we observe them in the wild on a short walk.

The Eastern Bluebird has long enchanted bird watchers, but over-development and non-native species once pushed the Eastern Bluebird to the brink of extinction. Thankfully a simple little box and dedicated individuals saved this beautiful bird. Come see their homes in action and learn how we can help make a home for the Eastern Bluebird in our own backyards.
