Explore the far northwestern corner of the Southeastern Massachusetts Bioreserve‘s Mill Brook watershed in the Freetown-Fall River State Forest. Park and meet by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) statue at the forest fire station parking area on Slab Bridge Road.

Length of walk approximately 5 miles. Spring trails will be wet and muddy. Wear appropriate footwear. Participants may need to bushwhack around some snapped and uprooted trees. Water and snack a good idea. Rain cancels walk.
