Join the Friends of Myles Standish State Forest, the Massachusetts Dept. of Conservation and Recreation, MassWildlife, and the Fearing Pond Cottage Owners Association at the 11th annual Take Me Fishin’ Festival. This fun day of fishing and activities will take place at Fearing Pond. Come for the morning or bring a picnic lunch and stay for the day! Raffle, prizes, and photo contest awards will follow when fishing ends.

Limited supply of fishing poles will be available to borrow; bait provided. Fishing license not required. Anglers will help novices cast a line and learn about fish, fishing safety, and ethics. Free and open to all ages.
