Join the Buzzards Bay Coalition for July’s Saturday at The Sawmill, where we’ll be exploring river animals that live just below the surface!
Love bugs? Hate bugs? Either way, you’ll be amazed at the diversity of life that exists at the edge of the Acushnet River at The Sawmill. We’ll have you wade out in search of aquatic macroinvertebrates (aka “big water bugs”). You’ll learn about the interesting adaptations of these unusual creatures, many of which you may have never seen before!
Waders are available in limited sizes for those who choose to use them.
This is a drop-in style event; please feel free to join us any time between 10am and 12pm.
