This event happened in the past.Dartmouth, MA 02748
Join the Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust for a winter snowshoe trek on Saturday, Feb. 11 starting at 9 a.m. from Slocum’s River Reserve. (Note: This event was postponed from its original date on Jan. 28 due to lack of snow.)
The trek will last approximately 90 minutes and will meander through the 47-acre reserve. The Slocum’s River Reserve, which protects more than 3,000 feet of frontage along the Slocum’s River, includes mature woodlands, agricultural fields, and pastures that slope down to the western bank of the Slocum’s River. The reserve has 2 miles of walking trails and is jointly owned and managed by The Trustees of Reservations and DNRT.
Usually only the worst weather will cancel a DNRT walk. If the weather is questionable, call (508) 525-9266 or check dnrt.org on the morning of the walk.
