Wildlife Photography for Beginners

Nature photographer Greg Stone will be your guide and photography coach as you roam about Herb Hadfield Conservation Area with the Westport Land Conservation Trust during the “golden hour” when lighting is at its best and wildlife is most active. As a bonus feature, we will encourage you to join a new Facebook group and share your best pictures with the world, helping others to learn and appreciate the natural wonders conserved by WLCT.
This will be a series of three walks. Each walk will be about two hours. The first two (June 7 and August 2) will begin at 6pm sharp. The third (October 11) will begin at 6:20am. Any camera will do, but if you are hoping for dramatic close-ups of birds or animals, one with a telephoto lens is preferred.
