With instruction, the basics will quickly become second nature, and you’ll be wondering why you didn’t start years ago! Explore Windsurfing is for complete beginners, covering everything you need to know to get afloat under supervision. It is essential to protect exposed skin from strong sun while windsurfing. Water-resistant sunscreen creams can still wash off in the water while getting wet so it is wise to also wear a t-shirt. For longer sessions, or in cooler water, then thermal protection will be needed. Either a Lycra or neoprene wetsuit which will provide warmth. All windsurfing equipment will be provided. Wetsuit boots or other suitable water shoes are required.
