  • Any volunteer under the age of 18 needs a parental signature on volunteer application/waiver
  • Any volunteer under the age of 16 needs to be accompanied by a parent/guardian (the exception to this is if a minor is volunteering as part of an organized group like a team, and they have adult supervision, like a coach or teacher, it is OK for their parent/guardian not to be there)
  • The Coalition reserves the right to establish a minimum volunteer age, particularly for activities such as Land Stewardship

  • Group should call or email volunteer coordinator to discuss their group, what type of opportunities they're interested in, etc.

Volunteer Spotlight!

Al Humphrey has been a dedicated Baywatcher and volunteer for over 20 years. From early mornings in the field to long days at our signature events, Al consistently shows up with reliability and a strong sense of purpose. Whether he’s monitoring the health of the Bay or lending a hand behind the scenes, Al’s willingness to step in wherever needed has made him an invaluable part of our team. We are deeply grateful for Al’s continued support and the many ways he contributes to protecting and celebrating the Bay.

Thank you for everything you do, Al!
