The Buzzards Bay Coalition is moving forward with plans to launch its full slate of signature outdoor events in 2021, promoting the protection of Buzzards Bay while adapting the activities to meet the evolving public health requirements of the pandemic.

For February vacation, the Coalition has organized a set of child-friendly activities and guides that can be used by children, adults and families. The goal is to spend time in the outdoors and discover the beauty of the Buzzards Bay region’s natural resources, while following social distancing precautions.

At our 31st Annual Meeting in Westport on May 21, the Coalition presented Michael Deland, Michael Gagne, and Wendy Northcross with Buzzards Bay Guardian Awards for their outstanding work to protect and restore the Bay.
